About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Nursing Informatics to drive strategic, operational, and innovative initiatives across a large acute care network. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the division's clinical informatics strategy, serving as an executive sponsor for nursing and interdisciplinary IT projects, and ensuring the design and implementation of optimized workflows that meet best practices and regulatory standards. This role requires a transformational leader who can influence large-scale change, foster clinical adoption, and maintain a strong focus on data-driven, safe, and effective patient care. Applicants must have a Texas RN license, a Master's degree in a relevant field, and a minimum of 5 years' of acute care nursing informatics leadership experience. The role demands a strong track record in managing large-scale implementations, advanced proficiency in clinical systems, and exceptional skills in analytics, leadership, and stakeholder engagement. The Vice President will also be expected to guide system enhancements, use data to drive decisions, and ensure strategic alignment with EHR compliance and federal/state program standards. A national certification in nursing informatics is preferred and required within 6 months of hire. The ideal candidate will be a servant-leader, passionate about the intersection of clinical care and technology, and ready to make a significant impact on nursing practice and patient care.
