First Connect Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry
• Discipline: RN
• Duration: 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, flexible, rotating
• Employment Type: Travel

Registered Nurse – MedSurg/Telemetry
Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts

Contract Details:

• 50-mile radius rule applies (local rate differs for local candidates)
• Minimum 2 years of MedSurg/Telemetry experience required
• Travel experience required (no first-time travelers)
• AHA BLS certification required
• EPIC experience required
• COVID vaccine required (flu vaccine required during flu season)
• No block scheduling permitted
• Must work every other major holiday
• Will float to other units as needed
• No on-call required

Patient Population & Responsibilities:

• Post-op surgery: General, Orthopedics, GYN, Vascular
• Conditions: Heart Failure, Chest Pain, Pneumonia, Cellulitis, Pancreatitis, Alcohol Withdrawal
• Medication/Protocols: Heparin, TPN, Lasix, Cardizem (non-titrating; protocols for all drips)
• RNs responsible for rhythm identification every 4 hours (no central monitor tech, monitors are on unit)

• Please indicate if candidate is fluent in another language (Spanish, Portuguese, Haitian Creole strongly valued).
