Transportation Engineering Group Manager / Office Executive

Corpus Christi, TX | Senior Leadership Role

A leading Texas-based civil engineering and surveying consultancy is looking for a Transportation Engineering Group Manager / Office Executive to lead operations and technical delivery out of its Corpus Christi office.

This is a high-impact leadership position combining transportation project oversight, office operations, and strategic business development.

As Transportation Group Manager:

• Oversee PS&E, schematic, drainage, traffic control, and design deliverables
• Provide QA/QC and project oversight on TxDOT-related projects
• Lead proposal development and client interface for TxDOT and municipal work
• Mentor and manage a team of engineers, designers, and techs
• Maintain compliance with all federal/state guidelines and certifications

As Office Executive:

• Set vision and strategy for growth in Corpus Christi and surrounding markets
• Build and maintain key relationships with TxDOT, cities, and local agencies
• Collaborate with other offices and departments across the business
• Champion internal culture, employee engagement, recruitment, and retention
• Represent the office in corporate strategic planning and BD efforts

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering
• PE license in Texas (or ability to obtain within 3 months)
• Strong command of TxDOT design standards and project delivery
• Experience with MicroStation, GeoPak, and OpenRoads Designer
• Track record of winning and managing TxDOT and municipal contracts
• Leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary teams
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Business development mindset with regional connections a plus
