Hertz Realty Group is seeking an entry-level Real Estate Analyst with a finance or real estate background to work from our HQ in Downtown Fort Lauderdale. We are two partners who are sourcing deals for ourselves and institutional clients— Specializing in the use of CRE software and knowledge in the industrial real estate and capital markets to acquire/source opportunities.
Job Description:
Report directly to the partners at an industrial investment firm located in Downtown Fort Lauderdale. The role will encompass new acquisitions prospecting by utilizing software, performing market research, and outreach to prospective property owners.
Qualifications:
· Either a Bachelor’s degree or working towards a degree in a business based degree with a strong preference for Accounting/Finance/Real Estate majors
· Available Monday through Friday, 9:30-5:30
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required
· Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects at once
· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop relationships with a variety of industry professionals
· Extremely high levels of organization and task management
· Real estate license a plus or be willing to get licensed at a later time
· Bilingual in Spanish preferred
Responsibilities:
· Investigate target market fundamentals using our acquisition criteria & software to identify potential investments.
· Assist partners in preparing and presenting new investments, financing or disposition recommendations, and updates on existing investments.
· Perform market research and update data sets.
· Underwrite properties of interest using Excel and market data – perform long-term analysis to project future cash flows and total returns
· Prepare LOIs (offers) to submit to properties of interest
· Assist in preparing investment packages via PowerPoint and Excel
· Help oversee short and long-term business plans for newly acquired assets
· Deliver timely and accurate budgets and meet financial reporting needs for investors
· Additional Ad Hoc requests
Compensation:
Compensation will be determined based on the candidate's experience. Compensation structure will be a salary + bonuses.
