Job Description
On-call position to attend home births assisting a midwife in Pinellas county. Must have full availability to accomodate on-call lifestyle and arrive on site within 30 minutes of call. RN, LPN, or CNA is helpful but not required. Duties include, setting up and taking down all birth supplies and medical equipment, taking basic vitals on mother and baby, working shoulder to shoulder with midwife to help with all aspects of labor and delivery. Obstetrics experience a plus, students and retirees welcome.
2-4 births per month plus 1-2 days per month of clinic. Pay is $300-$400 per birth plus $15-20 per hour for clinic time. Bonus pay every 10 births. Independent contractor 1099 position.
No experience necessary, though medical background/knowledge is preferred. I will train a mindful, warm, person with professional demeanor.
