Position Title: Client Services Project Manager

Location: 3 days a week onsite in Princeton, NJ

Salary: $80-90K MAX

Job Purpose

Our client is seeking a Marketing Client Services & Project Manager to manage the intake, organization, and execution of marketing and communications projects. Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications, this role oversees project workflows, serves as the primary client liaison, and coordinates a roster of freelance creative professionals. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Functions

Project Intake & Client Management

• Serve as the primary contact for project intake and client communications.
• Distribute and track intake forms; catalog requests in the project management system (monday.com).
• Schedule meetings, route drafts for review/approval, and track edits to ensure timely completion.
• Provide regular project updates, manage expectations, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
• Ensure all deliverables meet established quality standards and brand guidelines.

Workflow & Task Management

• Create and manage project tasks, timelines, and milestones in monday.com.
• Collaborate with designers, writers, strategists, and vendors to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Track deliverables, address bottlenecks, and identify project risks proactively.
• Suggest and implement workflow improvements.

Freelance Team Coordination

• Act as the primary liaison for freelance creatives (photographers, videographers, designers, etc.).
• Match freelancers to projects based on scope, timeline, and needs.
• Coordinate briefs, onboarding, and contracts in partnership with management.
• Maintain an updated freelance database and oversee project deliverables.
• Provide feedback, conduct post-project evaluations, and support freelancers on set/location when needed.
• Identify and onboard new freelance partners as required.

Other Functions

• Participate in committees and task forces as assigned.
• Recommend new tools, software, and workflows to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
• 3+ years of project management experience, preferably in marketing or communications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and vendor collaboration.
• Proficiency in project management tools (monday.com preferred).
• Strong organizational and time management skills with sharp attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and problem-solve in a dynamic environment.
