IH Services, Inc., providing facility maintenance and building services to many of the most recognized brands in the manufacturing, distribution, power generation, hospitality, health care and automotive industries.

We are seeking a hazardous waste manager for a facility located in Courtland, AL.

Pay: $58,240.00 annually WEEKLY PAY!!

Hours: 7:00 am - 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday

Job Duties:

• Management of regulated and universal waste including but not limited to hazardous waste, industrial and medical waste, batteries, etc.
• Emptying hazardous waste cans
• Transporting hazardous waste to central accumulation area
• Maintaining inventory of the central accumulation area
• Ensuring time allowances for hazardous waste storage as per regulations
• Proper record keeping

Qualifications:

• Must pass drug screen and background check.
• Must be able to acquire a secret clearance in order to maintain the job.
• A strong work ethic
• The ability to work alone or within a team is a must.
• 5 Years of experience in hazardous materials/waste management & disposal
• Knowledge of EPA, RCRA and TSCA Regulations
• Have current certifications in HAZPOWER training (minimum 24-hour technician), RCRA, and DOT Training
• Receive and maintain all certifications per assigned duties.
• Can lift up to 50 pounds.
