Job description:

Company is currently seeking a motivated Laboratory Chemist/Physicist/Engineer to join our team.

As a Chemist/Physicist/Engineer, you will play a crucial role in documenting and providing systems support to ensure the quality and safety of our consumer products.

Worker performs documentation and systems updates required for research, development, or quality control of processes and products.

This position will support a wide range of products and applications, so the worker will need to be a fast learner and able to work both with other engineers and independently to accomplish tasks.

This person will be responsible for but not limited to the following specific duties:

• Updating computer systems with documents relating to existing and new products
• Working with engineers to gather details to input into technical data sheets
• Helping optimize the linkages between various entries within PLM (data repository system)

Basic Qualifications:

• 1 -2 years of industry experience with data entry, updating documents and gathering details from engineers
• High School Diploma required
• Able to work 8-4 M-F on site
• Experience using Excel and Word
• Good attention to detail and ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a science-related field
• Strong organizational skills, self-motivated, and results driven
• Solid interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
• Prior laboratory or manufacturing experience
• Prior experience with PLM, ENOVIA, or similar systems
• Ability to take instructions (verbal and written) and complete a task with little or no supervision as an independent worker
• Soft skills:
• Worker must have excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• The ability to work independently.
• They must be able to adapt and adjust to the team's needs.
• They must also be able to learn systems quickly to be able to jump into this role and support the team with a wide range of documentation requests.
