Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various routes while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer service.

Duties

• Operate various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and tankers, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Navigate routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining accurate delivery logs.
• Manage refrigerated trailers, ensuring temperature controls are maintained during transport.
• Drive manual transmission vehicles as required by specific loads or routes.
• Collaborate with dispatchers and warehouse staff to coordinate deliveries and pickups.
• Maintain communication with management regarding any issues or delays encountered during transport.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Experience driving various types of trucks including dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and refrigerated trailers is preferred.
• Familiarity with route driving and delivery driver experience is a plus.
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles effectively.
• Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and load securing techniques.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
