About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President to spearhead its financial strategy and facilities operations. This pivotal role demands a visionary financial leader with a deep commitment to mission-driven healthcare, particularly in the context of serving Alaska Native and American Indian communities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management of resources that directly support the organization's mission, with a focus on strategic financial planning, revenue cycle and strategy, budgeting, accounting, treasury management, and procurement. Additionally, the role involves the strategic management of extensive facilities to ensure they align with the delivery of high-quality healthcare and the organization's growth. Applicants for the CFO/EVP position at the company should have a proven track record in financial stewardship and a minimum of 10 years' experience in healthcare financial management, including revenue cycle and development. Senior leadership experience is essential, as is a Master's degree in a relevant field and a CPA or CMA certification. The role requires a leader who can drive change, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure the organization's financial sustainability. The ideal candidate will also have a strong background in leadership development, be adept at building and nurturing high-performing teams, and possess excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills. While tribal healthcare experience is not mandatory, a deep understanding of Alaska Native and American Indian cultures and a passion for the mission of nonprofit healthcare are crucial.
