This individual serves as the bilingual learning specialist for The Contemporary Austin's educational and community programming for K-12 students, youth, and multigenerational learners. This position is responsible for the creation and translation of materials for Spanish- and English-speaking audiences in alignment with best practices for multilingual pedagogies. Working closely with the Education Programs Manager, this individual will play a key role in leading programming for K-12 audiences with bilingual support needs and developing strategies for bilingual facilitation of art-integrated curriculum in K-12 classrooms and tours for exhibitions at TCA's downtown galleries (The Jones Center) and 12-acre sculpture garden (Laguna Gloria). This position also collaborates closely with our Family & Community Programs to provide guidance in the translation of interpretive content and accessibility considerations for multigenerational audiences.
