Team Kia/Hyundai of Bend is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting department. Duties include: financial processing of transactions for our organization, bookkeeping and record keeping, financial reporting and the preparation of tax records for financial audits.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form

• Ability to multi-task

• Ability to work alone, self-motivated and manage one's own time

• Physical ability to use computer hardware/software

• Team player with a positive attitude

• Experience with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Organized and detail-oriented

• Ability to prioritize

• Research and general math skills

• Mature responsibility to attendance and punctuality (especially during month-end)

• Accounting experience preferred but will train the right individual

What You'll Do:
• Posts all open items in accounts payable

• Prints all accounts payable reports

• Reconciles statement and the ledger making sure that payments are consistent with schedules

• Prepares accounts payable checks

• Answers vendor inquiries

• Cancel extended warranties (training provided)

• Assists with related special projects as required

• Maintains a professional appearance
